- The interior of Columbine Hall
is open on specified days as part of the Suffolk Invitation to View scheme
(www.invitationtoview.co.uk) and by
appointment for groups - both booked through
The Mercury Theatre, Colchester (01206
573948). Columbine Hall owners Hew Stevenson and Leslie Geddes Brown usually conduct the approximately 1 1/2 hour tour themselves.
- The gardens (photos) of Columbine Hall
are open under the National Gardens Scheme (see
the Yellow Book for details) and for Stowupland
church (ring us for details, 01449 612219 or
Stowmarket Tourist Information, as above). We
will also open by appointment, either for large
groups or with an honesty box.
FACILITY HIRE:
-
The Gig House is a beamed holiday cottage for six, complete with its own cottage garden, log fire and charming open-plan living room. For photos and further information on the Gig House, click HERE.
- The West Barn is available for
letting by the day or longer for anything which
needs a large and beautiful space (within certain
planning regulations).There is car parking, a
caterers' annexe and room for a marquee. For photos and further information on the West

- The Clock Tower is a single
large room overlooking the moat (with its own
small annexe with sink, washbasin and wc). It is
fitted with telephone lines and sockets for
computers etc. Ideal for group meetings, lectures
and lunch parties, it can also be used in
