The Clock Tower, Columbine Hall

The Clock Tower, once a farm office and dairy, has been recreated into a 17th century gate lodge in the William and Mary style. Three deep Palladian windows overlook the moat, the Columbine Hall gardens and the countryside beyond. Because the windows face north, the 10m x 3.5m.(approx) main room is always flooded by a cool light. Inside, the room is designed in a similar style in National Trust colours.

There are plenty of electric sockets and there is an adjoining WC with washbasin and a lobby with a kitchen sink and cupboards. Meals prepared in the caterers' annexe adjoining the nearby West Barn can be served from here. It is the perfect place for peaceful and productive meetings or family gatherings of up to 28. Tables and chairs are available. There is ample car parking space.
